Dear visitor, You have stumbled upon my website, a mistake no
doubt, but welcome never the les! I like to use this site to share a little information
about me, because (if I managed) you shouldn’t be able to find too much
information elsewhere. Don´t blame me for trying… I just like to
(try to) maintain some control over the (private) data that can be found
about me online. You will find some information about me on my LinkedIn page if the search engines didn´t
point you there already. I would also like to share the links to the travel
website´s of myself (in India)
and my girlfriend and me in (Central
America) and (South Africa). I know; poorly written and probably/certainly
vulnerable to among others SQL injection attacks but without commercials. I
made them as a critical note to the people that post all there travel
information and pictures on the commercial waarbenjij.nu. About me; I like to characterize myself as a critical optimist
with a healthy curiosity and a petty strong self-confidence. Critical in the
scene that I like to challenge what I hear and I like to form my own option.
Optimistic because I think life is just too short to allow your mind to be filled
with all that can or will go wrong. I seem to
(sometimes) learn from the things that go wrong but (mostly) only remember
the things that turned-out ok. I am curios and I have a broad interest in many
different topics. I used to listen to a lot of Dutch radio programs when I
was only in my teens. Even though I didn´t understand all the topics
they were talking about; from finance, politics to technology, I did learn a
lot from it just by listening. Lately I find that there is
too much sports and there are way too many commercials on the radio. I prefer to listen to
podcasts. Currently I like; -
Risky.biz (Weekly IT security podcast. By far my favorite
podcast, listened to this way before I understood everything they discus,
thanks Patrick!) -
Argos
(In Dutch, critical more or less independent research journalism radio
program) -
BNR Voorkennis (Podcast on macroeconomics and
sometimes some interesting insights. More commercial and it doesn´t get
updated as much as I would like but interesting never the less) -
Met het Oog op Morgen
(A mellow, relaxed way to stay up to date with the news) -
Search Engine (A recent addition to my favorites list, A critical
mind talking about privacy, and regulations) That’s it, send me a
message through the mail if you have any comments, tips or questions. Have a nice day! Last updated; September
